Note on data protection: data collection

When you visit our website, the IP address of your computer is transferred to our web host. This is personal data that requires special protection. Our web host learns the name of your Internet service provider and the date and time of your visit to our website. The data is stored in order to guarantee the operational security of our website in the event of attacks on the website (hacking attempts, DDOS attacks, etc.) and to be able to take legal action if necessary.
An automatic collection of further personal data (e.g. information such as your name, address, postal address, telephone number) is not triggered by visiting this website. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example by sending an email. The transfer of your data to third parties is excluded, as far as legal regulations do not allow or order it or we have your consent to the transfer of your data. Such a declaration of consent can be revoked at any time.
We would like to point out that there is no secure transmission with regard to data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email). Sensitive data should therefore either not be transmitted at all or only via a secure connection (SSL).

Note on data protection: use of cookies

Cookies are small data sets that your browser stores on your local hard drive. Cookies may be used on our website. The cookies on our website do not contain any personal data about you. Cookies save you having to enter data multiple times, make it easier for you to transmit specific content and help us identify particularly popular areas of our online offering. So we are u. a. able to tailor the content of our website to the needs of users. If you wish, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via the settings of your browser. Please use the help functions of your browser window to find out how you can change these settings. However, this can mean that you can no longer use individual areas of our website. Deactivation may result in individual areas of the website not being displayed in the manner we provide, e.g. because other fonts or images that do not match the screen format are displayed. The information content of our website remains even with a different appearance.

Note on data protection: third-party codes

So-called third-party codes were also used when programming our website.
The details are:

– jQuery from code.jquery.com; The program library ensures that website content is displayed correctly. There is no storage of data.

– fonts from fonts.gstatic.com and their CSS file from fonts.googleapis.com; The tool loads the fonts used on our website from an external server. Since these are not standard fonts, this is necessary to ensure the correct display of the ABG website. There is no storage of data.

– Google Map from maps.gstatic.com and gstatic.com and their linked Javascript libraries. There is no storage of personal data.

– Google Recaptcha module from google.com and its JavaScript library. There is no storage of personal data.

In this context, we would like to point out that external servers from Google or jquery in the USA can be accessed through this use. Unfortunately, we do not currently know whether Google logs this server request and uses it further. However, we assume that the Google data protection information also applies in this regard. In any case, your IP address will therefore be saved for a period of several months. The same also applies to Java Script elements that could be loaded from Google servers for browser compatibility purposes (e.g. with IE9).

There is currently no data collection by the third-party code “google analytics” when you visit our website.

Data protection notice: Right to information, deletion and objection

At your request, we will at any time and comprehensively provide information about the personal data stored by us, correct the data or, at your request, delete the data, unless it is data that is subject to a statutory retention period in accordance with statutory regulations for the proper conduct of business. Data for which there is no retention period will be permanently deleted in regular deletion cycles.
